Lincoln Aviator: Exterior Tech

The external tech features of the Aviator are designed to enhance your driving experience, from the word “go” to pulling into your driveway. An example of the latter is the liftgate. Combining two technologies, standard Power Liftgate and available Hands Free Liftgate, you’ll have an easy time unloading or packing for your next great adventure. You can use the key fob to pop it open, but if your hands are full, just slide your foot under the sensor and it’ll take care of the rest.

Available with the Illumination Package, the Adaptive Pixel LED Headlamps help keep your drives in clear sight. They apply a number of technologies to send light on and off the road. At highway speeds, speed-dependent lighting is designed to shine light farther into the distance; at slower speeds, the light array widens, helping drivers detect pedestrians and potential hazards.

Lincoln Aviator: Interior Tech

There’s a lot of terrific features to choose from in this section, so we’ll start with the available Head-Up Display (HUD). This allows you to project onto the windshield standard driving information, available Intelligent Adaptive Cruise Control settings, Lane-Keeping System information, and much more. This helps keep you abreast of the important information while not distracting you from the road ahead.

There are more neat features that show Lincoln is on the cutting edge when it comes to making your driving life better. Through a few simple steps via the available Lincoln Way™ App, you’ll be able to program your phone to act as a key to your Aviator SUV. Through a Bluetooth® connection, your phone will do more than just grant you entrance—it’ll allow you to start it up and drive away. This level of convenience cannot go understated.

Another great bundle of tech features is the available Intelligent Adaptive Cruise Control which includes Stop-and-Go, Lane Centering Assist, and Speed Sign Recognition. This bevy of features gives you better control over your cruising, not to mention the assist to your fuel economy with the included Stop-and-Go technology. The latter two features help keep you centered in your lane while recognizing speed signs and adjusting to their limits automatically.
